North City’s favorite jazz festival brought another powerhouse lineup to the heart of summer. A vibrant street scene was full of food trucks, family-friendly fun, and local businesses, while local jazz musicians performed in cozy indoor spaces and open-air stages. From Django-inspired gypsy jazz, rootsy Americana, and smoky bluesy jazz, to gospel-infused grooves... this year had something for everyone!
"Love being able to hear jazz of this caliber without leaving my neighborhood!"
"We look forward to this night all summer, it just keeps getting better."
"The way you had things organized meant we could see all the musicians in one night without feeling rushed. Well done!"

HOW IT WENT
6:00 pm - Venues and food trucks began serving
6:30 pm - Free outdoor music begian
7:00 pm - Ticketed indoor music began
Ticketed attendees had access to all venues; non-ticketed attendees had access to the two free outdoor venues.
At 6:00 pm, we closed down the street and a variety of venues, food trucks, and outdoor beer gardens offered "Jazz Bites" food and/or beverages for purchase, so attendees could choose their first venue and get comfortable before the music got underway.
Outdoor bands began playing at 6:30 pm, the indoor bands began playing at 7:00 pm. Each venue featured the same jazz musician / band all night long.
Bands played three sets, with a 15 minute break between sets.
